SAINT JOSEPH AS A MYSTIC IN LIGHT OF EDITH STEIN’S AND LOUIS BOUYER’S CONTEMPORARY MYSTICISM DEFINITIONS
Abstract
The abbey in Krzeszów is not only a place of Saint Mary’s cult but also the cult of her holy beloved Saint Joseph. In the speech an important issue has been put: can Joseph of Na-zareth be called a mystic? In solving this problem definitions of mysticism developed by contemporary theologists, Louise Bouyer and Edith Stein turned out to be helpful. Also Michael Willmann’s frescs and works of abbot Bernard Rosa played a role of inestimable value. A look at Saint Joseph’s earthly life and his glory in heaven helps us solved the issue. The Nazareth’s family guardian has been shown as a mystic of every day life.

THROUGH SUBJECTIVITY TO PARTICIPATIONIN A PLURALISTIC SOCIETY.HISTORICAL AND SOCIAL REFLECTIONS
Abstract
It is difficult to identify the specific causes of modern society which is considered as plura-listic. The reference to the causes or rather certain perceived historical tendencies is dicta-ted by the wide scope of pluralism itself. It must be assumed that socio-cultural pluralism is as old as human being. It can be seen that it was read and understood differently in every period of history. Generally speaking, the varieties of centralism and uniforism correspond to the varieties of pluralism. The clash of these two opposing sides takes on a different character in every age and organization of society. The presented historical outline reveals the evolutionary growth, or rather the process of crystallization of two fields: human rights and the subjective responsibility of the human person. It is known that these fields really arrange a wide range of socio-political systems.

POSITION OF THE CHURCH AGAINST THE COUP D’ÉTATOF JÓZEF PIŁSUDSKI AND ITS FIRST CONSEQUENCES
Abstract
In May 1926, Marshal Józef Piłsudski made a military coup d’état. This event forced the hierarchy of the Catholic Church and numerous circles of the faithful to define their own attitude towards the new ruling camp and once again towards the state and its institutions as a whole. It was necessary to revise the traditional model of the clergy's involvement in public affairs, which was characterized by unambiguous identification of many of them with the program and activities of the parties. The Church in Poland, developing a mature position corresponding to the requirements of time, owed preponderantly to the thought and politics of Bishop August Hlond, who shortly after May took the office of Primate and leadership of the Episcopate and gained a real impact on the life of the entire Catholic community.

UNITY – SEARCH FOR ONLY SIMILAROR COMMUNION OF DIFFERENT HUMANS. SOME BASIC PROBLEMS REGARDING INTERPERSONAL RELATIONSHIPSIN THE BIBLE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE PROBLEMOF HOMOSEXUAL TENDENCIES
Abstract
The article brings up a subject of homosexual tendencies and other LGBT+ phenomena in the light of biblical anthropology. The analysis of texts from Genesis 1 and 2 shows that the creation of the human being as a man and a woman in the image and likeness of God is connected with vocation to be in a relationship with another, different from him, so that he would create a life-giving unity with him. This God’s plan was eclipsed by original sin. The human being deceived by Satan, determines his way of being independently of God. He interprets distinctness of the other human being as alien and threatening. Fear of the other’s being, deeply rooted in the being of man, often finds its confirmation in the experience of inappropriate treatment by others and seriously determines the formation of interpersonal relations, including homosexual tendencies. To overcome this fear, it is necessary to rebuild in the human being reference to God as his Creator and image. This is achieved by the light of the Gospel and the power of the sacraments. Reference to Jesus Christ, who overcame hostility, daily struggle and conversion, again shape relationships with others according to God’s original conception.

Abstract
The history of Church is to a great extent a history of saints, and the existence of the Church is mainly to convert all of its members to saints. Christ commits us all to holiness. He said: “Be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect”. Therefore, a saint is: the one who shares his will with God’s will; the one who gives himself and his life to his neighbor. That was fully realized - fulfilled by Saint. Maria de Mattias. And this so to say coming into contact with Christ is done above all by: love for the Holy Bible, love for the Church, love for the Pope, love for brothers and sisters.

KINDS OF SUBSTANCES CREATED IN CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY
Abstract
The uncreated energy of the three Divine Persons causes the existence of created substan-ces, which have their interior, their own energy: spiritual or material. In this realm there are three kinds of created beings: angels, the material world and people, who consist of body and soul. Subsequent substances are connected with one another in some way. The bond of God with all created substances is obvious. Without this bond there is nothing, nothingness remains. Substances do not connect with one another directly but through their inner stuff. The final grounds for the existence of beings beyond God, and all possible created relations are the three Divine Persons.

Abstract
Documented facts about terrorism go back to the times before the beginnings of our era. Unfortunately, they accompany human life continuously to the present day. Over the years, the tools used by terrorists have been changing, but the motives and goals of their opera-tion as well as the “centres of global terrorism” have not changed. Many mechanisms appe-aring in the past allow us to perceive certain regularities in development of the terrorism, and thus effectively oppose it in hazardous conditions.

Abstract
Mount St. Anna is a special pilgrimage place in Upper Silesia, centered around the cult of St. Anna Samotrzecia, a symbol of communication of generations and family love. The pilgrimage movement takes place here annually, from the time when the Gaszyn family erected the calvary chapels in the years 1700-1709. Over the centuries, this place, despite historical turmoil, has become the pilgrimage center of Opole Silesia, to which pilgrims have always been moving to this day. The article focuses on presenting the relationships and interdependencies that have occurred over the years between native inhabitants of Mount St. Anne and pilgrims coming to the sanctuary on the basis of an analysisof the memories of modern families living in the Mount St. Anne.

GROWTH IN HOLINESS THROUGH DISCERNMENT. REFLECTION IN THE LIGHT OF THE APOSTOLIC EXHORTATIONGAUDETE ET EXSULTATE OF POPE FRANCIS
Abstract
The pastoral recommendation of the apostolic exhortation Gaudete et exultate is to un-dertake discernment that is to result in holiness of life. Pope Francis reminds God’s offer of human salvation – true and happy life according to words of “Rejoice and be glad” (Mt 5:12). Thanks to proper discernment, the human being gains help in accepting the gifts, inspirations and instructions of the Holy Spirit. Using in his life discernment, for example, through the examination of conscience, the human being man can more effecti-vely fulfil evangelizing tasks, and following example of the Virgin Mary, he can acquire the skills of prayer, struggle, faith and activities that lead to growth in holiness.

CHRISTIAN RELIGIOUS MINORITIES IN TORUŃ WITHIN THE YEARS OF 1920-1939
Abstract
The article raises a question of functioning of selected Christian minorities in Toruń du-ring the interwar period. The fate of Methodists, Seventh-day Adventists, Baptists and the faithful of the Polish National Catholic Church were analyzed. The author explained the history of mutual relationships between religious minorities, and the Catholic majority of the people living in Toruń. The attitude of the administrative authorities and the Catholic Church to the mentioned groups was also taken into account.

People who make a particular family make, consciously or unconsciously, the choice of content, which have a significant impact on family functioning in everyday situations. The values adopted as a standard shape not only the style of the moral behavior of the family, but also show the ideals and aspirations of its members. Every action of family members, and in particular those carried out in a purposeful and conscious, has an impact on the functioning of this family. Examples of such activities is a common family Bible study. Fa-milies that attempts to explore content standing at the foundations of their civilization, can make a significant contribution to the development of society.

Abstract
The Archbishop’s Charity Committee was established in the Archdiocese of Wrocław in December 1981, a few days after an imposition of the martial law in Poland. The purpose of its founding was to help all victims. Within this Committee, 14 sections were created, managed by coordinators and their deputies. The Committee cooperated with parishes and, above all, with foreign organizations.

SEARCHING FOR THE COMMON ANCESTOR OF HUMANS AND APES: INFORMATIC AND TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
Abstract
The paper discusses one of the aspects of the human evolution, namely, bipedality. Omit-ting the ideological and philosophical speculations, the analysis focuses on the question of technical possibility of four-legged system transformation into a bipedal mechanism. It was emphasized that the number of transformational steps is possible to approximate and appears to be not too big, and it must ensure gradual changes in genetic scripts for-warded from generation to generation coding new elements of the locomotion system. The analysis leads to the conclusion that the task of step-by-step transformation of a functional four-leg system into bipedal one is technically insolvable.

SCIENTIFIC ACTIVITY OF KAROL WOJTYŁA IN THE KRAKÓW – LUBLIN PERIOD (1945-1978)
Abstract
John Paul II (1920-2005) showed great interest in the humanities. Previously, as an acade-mic teacher, he was actively involved in theology and philosophy. He was also interested in issues in the field of exact sciences. The relationship between faith and science was later an important element of his papal teaching. As a young priest, he formed numerous contacts with students of various disciplines, as both their priest and friend. Among these young people many later became professors of exact and technical sciences. Contact with such acquaintances resulted in dialogues and interdisciplinary meetings, and when Wojtyla be-came Pope, they transformed into scientific symposia in Castel Gandolfo. Italian symposia have brought the Church great benefits in the form of in-depth papal teaching about science-faith relations. John Paul II encouraged theologians and representatives of exact sciences to cooperate diligently in the search for the truth, because, as he argued, there is no conflict between these disciplines. The aim of these deliberations throughout this paper is to show the course of Karol Wojtyla’s scientific path and his openness to natural science. In the course of deliberations, the activities of Karol Wojtyła associated with the Jagiel-lonian University, later at the Catholic University of Lublin and his relations with young scientists and students of exact sciences will first be presented.

Abstract
Larry Laudan and Imre Lakatos are two contemporary philosophers of science, who cre-ated methodology of scientific researches allowing to estimate adequacy of scientific the-ories and research programmes to reality. Using Laudan and Lakatos’ methodology the attempt of theism, pantheism and panentheism’s estimation to religiousness of human has been taken. It seems that theism is this methaphysical conception of realtion between God and the world, that fulfils the best the assumption of Laudan and Lakatos’ methodology.
