Wpływ tradycji rzymskich na rozwój liturgii Kościoła
INFLUENCE OF ROMAN TRADITIONS ON DEVELOPMENT OF CHURCH’S LITURGY
Abstract
Church’s liturgy just like the whole christianity at the beginning gave rise and developed in the circle of influences of three cultures: Hebrew, greek-Hellenistic and Roman. It seems that Roman culture brought into the liturgy the most precious values, especially concern Roman law. A spirit of the Roman law is present in Church’ liturgy just like any rules and logic of Latin language which became the liturgical language of western Church. The Church took up into its liturgy also garments used by Romans, and as well certain elements of ceremonial of imperial court as a way of faith expression.

ECCLESIOLOGY OF LAITY IN THE TERMS OF BLESSED JOHN HENRY NEWMAN (1801-1890)
Ecclesiological studies
Abstract
The theology of J. H. Newman, understood as the service to the God’s People, rather than being laid out in a proper treaty was expressed in numerous complementary and inter-woven scholarly essays and sermons whose theological issues touch upon the ideas of J. A. Möhler. The concepts of both these great theologians had preceded by many decades the teaching of The First Vatican Council and, in particular, that of the Second Vatican Council which has defined, conceptualized and systematized ecclesiological concepts. In this context the specific ecclesiology of J. H. Newman reveals a new perspective which has brought the catholic schemes out of the conceptual chaos and contradictions that neither the protestant revolution nor the Trent catholic reform could eradicate The ecclesiology of the laity in Newman’s perspective had preceded by decades the intentions of the Fathers of the Second Vatican Council and until now has inspired the successive generations of theologians.

THE MESSAGE OF LOVE OF NEIGHBOR IN THE LIGHT OF THE DEUS CARITAS EST AND CARITAS IN VERITATE ENCYCLICALS BY THE POPE BENEDICT XVI
Abstract
The love of God is essential for human life. It is a source, purpose, and the way of the Christian life. However, the dynamism of love, is not confined to the love for God, but goes further by calling for the love of neighbor. This love is to be modeled on Christ, who revealed it and confirmed it with his whole life and called to follow Him in this attitude. Pope Benedict XVI’s encyclicals Deus caritas est and caritas in veritate are located in this perspective. Following in the footsteps of these two papal encyclicals, the christian vision of the love of neighbor that is rooted in the God’s love and is the duty of every believer, is presented in this publication. It is also an attempt to describe the essence of love, with particular emphasis on the biblical foundation and richness of the terminology contained in language formulas. Only in this context, it was possible to outline the theology of love, and the essential aspects of the Christian message of love of neighbor that is based on this theology.

FRANCISCAN SANCTUARES OF LITTLE POLANDTHE ORIGIN OF FORMATION
Abstract
The article presents the origin of formation of sanctuaries in Little Poland, i.e., the places where the faithful particularly are in contact with sacrum and feel protective care of Jesus’ Mother. History of origin of these sanctuaries is connected with presence of sacred pictures and miracle working events which legitimated functioning of these places as cult and development centers of provincial culture. The Marian sanctuaries run by Franciscans reformers are dated back to the seventeenth century. At that time in monastic chronicles are appeared first mentions on churches in Wieliczka, kazimierz-upon-Vistula, Pińczow and Pilica-Biskupice. These four Marian sanctuaries are places of worship of the Virgin Mary. Coronations of the Madonna pictures made over there took place these days what testifies that there is an explicit historic continuity of their spiritual influence.
