Pięknie uczy Katechizm Kościoła katolickiego: „Stworzył Bóg człowieka na swój obraz, na obraz Boży go stworzył: stworzył mężczyznę i niewiastę” (Rdz 1,27). Człowiek zajmuje jedyne miejsce w stworzeniu: został stworzony na „obraz Boży”; w swojej własnej naturze jednoczy świat duchowy i świat materialny; jest stworzony jako „mężczyzna i kobieta”; Bóg obdarzył go swoją przyjaźnią” (nr 355).
Z pewnością nie należy tej, tak zacnej, ludzkiej godności roztrwaniać. A dzieje się to wtedy, gdy człowiek zbyt łatwo ucieka od swego wnętrza i nie oglądając Boga w pięknie stworzenia, nad wyraz chętnie oddaje się tylko temu, co zewnętrzne.
Dzisiaj przypisuje się wielką moc temu, co zewnętrzne. Działanie pozorności odczuwa się na każdym kroku. Człowiek co dzień atakowany jest przez tych, którzy myślą za niego, wybierają to, co ich zdaniem jest najstosowniejsze dla jego dobra, skrupulatnie starają się, aby nie doszedł do niego głos jego wnętrza. A nawet on sam woli już opierać się na tym, co widzi, słyszy, czuje, mimo wewnętrznego głosu, dla usłyszenia którego trzeba wysiłku, ponieważ podany jest w tajemnicy zdumienia.
W wichrze blichtrów i siatce banalnych informacji sprzedaje się własną wolność, przyjmując tandetę wyboru. Zewnętrzny obraz, koloryzm jego przekazu staje się najwyższym miernikiem podejmowanych decyzji, przejmowania cudzych myśli, nawet całych ideologii. Hasła: „daj się sprzedać”, „zaprezentuj się najlepiej, jak umiesz”, bo przecież „jak cię widzą, tak cię piszą”, przedkładane są nad „bycie sobą”, a jeszcze bardziej nad „bycie dla drugich”. Czyż struktury grzechu nie są pięknie umalowane, a najwięcej zarabiającymi nie są biznesmeni produkujący narzędzia śmierci?
Nie zewnętrzne dary radują trwale, ale te, które mają źródło w najgłębszych pokładach człowieka. Wnętrze uświęca to, co zewnętrzne na wzór pocisku, który jest słaby bez uderzenia – telum imbelle sine ictu. Wnętrze cieszy tożsamością, zewnętrze trąci sprzedajnością. Decyzja, a tym bardziej wybór jest bezsilny bez autonomii, czyli wewnętrznej wolności, która jest najpiękniejszym odbiciem Boga. Autonomia daje siłę wszelkim działaniom, pod którymi zawsze kryje się intencja, środki oraz siła woli człowieka i społeczności, władzy i instytucji, obyczaju i mody, prawa i moralności. Oby intencja i środki były dobre, a moc woli zawsze zmagazynowana w naczyniach wygranych prób zdobytego doświadczenia.
Zewnętrze aktualizuje dar pochodzący z wnętrza. Ten dar czyni dawcę czystym bądź nieczystym. Niech zatem dobrze słyszalne będą słowa ewangelizujące współczesną kulturę, także kulturę poznania intelektualnego: „Nierozumni! Czyż Stwórca zewnętrznej strony nie uczynił także wnętrza?” (Łk 11,40). Czyż prawdziwa wiara może nie działać przez prawdę i miłość?

Nowo ewangelizacyjna pobożność?
NEW EVANGELIZATION PIETY?
Abstract
New evangelization spirit which remains in the Church needs to ask a question concerning the piety, its requirements and place in the life of believers or communities. How today’s piety can be characterized? Problem of new evangelization piety may be an inspiration for more systematic discussions. From practical point of view it can evoke enumeration of piety forms and initiate promotion of the new ones. By virtue of pastoral-spiritual arguments it should ask for a spirit of the piety of individual priest. However, in the context of activity of the secular Catholics, shouldn’t it become aware of the fact that all believers of the Church are responsible for increasing of its good?

Streszczenie
Tytuł artykułu jest prowokujący. Nie da się jednoznacznie odpowiedzieć »tak« lub »nie«. Jest to kwestia wymagająca analizy pod różnymi aspektami. Ewangelizacja, bardziej niż jakiekolwiek inne określenie, wskazuje na samą naturę Kościoła, który jest powołany do gło-szenia i uobecniania słowa Bożego. Zatem ewangelizacja stanowi również konstytutywny wymiar teologii, która jest wezwana do większego zrozumienia tajemnicy, którą studiuje i przekazuje. Kościół ma za zadania przekazywać objawienie i je realizować w dynamicznym procesie, który wyraża się w Tradycji. Ewangelizacja sama w sobie jest zwykłym przekazem. Istnieje nierozerwalny związek między głoszeniem Ewangelii, jej odbiorcą a historią, w której dokonuje się ten proces. Wyłączenie ewangelizacji z tego wymiaru sprawiłoby, że misja Kościoła w historii ludzi byłaby bezużyteczna i nieskuteczna. Jeżeli głoszenie Ewangelii byłoby tylko odczytaniem tekstu bez odniesienia do Kościoła, który żyje w konkretnym czasie, to nie dokonałoby się nawrócenie człowieka w oparciu o rozbudzoną wiarę.

FELIKS KONECZNY’S (1862-1949) THEORY OF CIVILIZATIONAND MODERN IDEA OF MULTICULTURALISM
Abstract
This article presents the following problems: 1) The short biography of Felix Konecz-ny. He was a professor at University in Vilnius (1920-1929). There he taught the history of Eastern Europe. Most of his life scientist spent in Krakow. 2) His historiosophical con-cept of civilization. According to the scolar, civilization is a method of collective life. One the laws of civilizations is: among civilizations don’t exist synthesis, but the mix leading to social disorder; only cultures belonging to the same civilization can create a synthesis; thus, multiculturalism is fatal to Europe’s identity. 3) Terrorism in Western Europe is a result of alienation of moral principles and Christian ethics. 4) The postulate of the author: Euro-pe should return to its roots of civilization – Christianity.

PRIMATE OF POLAND AUGUST JÓZEF HLONDAND THE CHURCH OF WROCŁAW
Abstract
August Hlond got permission of the Holy See to organize the church administration on Reclaimed Territories. On the day of 15th August 1945 he appointed five church administrators with rights of residential bishops and defined areas of their jurisdiction, making simultaneously new delimitation of Wrocław archdiocese and Berlin diocese. Apostolic administrator of Lower Silesia became priest dr. Karol Milik. In his activity Primate Hlond met difficulties from many sides: communist authority in Poland, incomprehension in Vatican, German press attacks. In the ensuing situation card. Hlond on 24 October 1946 prepared exact report to the Holy See in which gave an extensive account on appointment of apostolic administrations. While to catholic people of the Regained Territories before his death he gave an address, calling so that “in reconstructed Homeland everybody feels good as citizen of the state, as believer of evangelic truth and as faithful son of the Church”.

Abstract
Father Pio exchanged extensive correspondence on spiritual topics. There is a lot of instructions on humility in it. In the light of moral theology humility is a virtue which is most often indicated as the foundation for other virtues. Father Pio presents it comprehensively, describing many of its aspects and pointing to its fruits. This is an interesting and original synthesis based on theological texts and personal experience of the holy Capuchin.

THE FAITHFUL TO THE TESTAMENT OF FIGHTING POLAND Communist repressions towards members of intelligence agency of W&N – “Freedom and Independence” (code name “Liceum”)
Abstract
Last order of commander of Home Army, gen. L. Okulicki, did not exempt his subordi-nates from obligation to carry out activities aiming at recovering of true freedom and so-vereignty of Poland. Soldiers of “after Home Army independence underground” very well understood message of their commander. Members of W&N took not only the peaceful fight but by military actions as well. In the circle of depositaries of the testament of the Fighting Poland found also the intelligence agency of W&N “Liceum”, main task of which was gathering of information on activities of communist authorities, Polish repression and Soviet security service. For their activity they were tracked down, arrested and sentenced in political trials as a result of which many of them had heavy sentences.

She opened herself of the Holy Spirit’s actions, which purified Her, lightened Her with a passion and transformed Her. Being united with God reached the pinnacles of Carmelite mysticism. The richness of Her soul is reflected in the show corespondence with Her relatives and frends and Her spirituals writings. St. Elizabeth, trought Her testimony, invites us to work intensely for ourselves and for a deep friendship with the Trinity.

Bishop J. Wysocki worked out different ceremonies and rites in a form of home liturgy including in it the religious songs as well. Current reflection is a continuation of earlier studies over song repertoire proposed mainly in Family ritual. It involves theological content of songs included into home celebrations of the ordinary period within the year, in which important place take Sundays, holidays and family events connected with participation of individual members in the sacral life, especially the first confession and Holy Communion of the child.

“IN CHRIST, I REMAIN A JEW” – SOLUTION OF THE CULTURAL PROBLEMBETWEEN JUDAISM AND CHRISTIANITY
Abstract
The paper discusses one of the aspects of the “enmity” problem between the Jewish nation and other peoples. It is expressed in the lack of acceptance of the Jewish communities towards the Jews converted to Christianity. Based on the testimonies published in the Catholic magazine “Love One Another”, certain pattern of conversion is pointed out: first enmity towards Christianity and Christians, then discovery of Jewish identity of Jesus confessed in Christianity, and eventually confession of the “new” faith after overcoming the cultural obstacle and keeping the Jewish identity. Thus, it seems possible to discover the deep spiritual unity between two religions and overcoming the cultural difference.

„Co ty tu robisz Eliaszu?”. Tekst w kontekście na podstawie analizy
“WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, ELIJAH?” Text in the Context, based on analysis of 1 Kings 19:1-14
Abstract
Reflecting on the figure of the Prophet Elijah we faced the problem of locating the narra-tive in context. Certain difficulties result in the order of presented events: victory over the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel (Chap. 18), Elijah’s Escape (Chap. 19), quite unexpec-ted after the success. We came to the conclusion that this is a kind of manipulation by the author of inspired narration on two levels rather than chronological sequence. Establishing the structure of the story of the expedition of Elijah and theophany on the mountain of Choreb allowed us to clearly see that it consists of three interconnected parts: the way to the Mountain, Theophany and the vocation of Elisha. In our search for the prophet Elias, we concentrated on two topics. The first was a prophet’s stay in the wilderness, which did not become a place of curse for him, but the presence of God at every moment of the prophet’s mission accomplished by him. The second theme is the manifestation of God on the mountain of the Choreb. We discovered that all this story leads to answer the question: What are you doing here, Elijah? In the first moment, it is possible to get the impression that it is about showing the particularly heroic attitude of the Prophet, who is burning with zeal for faith in the One God. In reality, however, the answer to this question is that neither the hurricane nor the destructive force of the earthquake, nor even the destructive action of the fire, shut the presence of God in them, but a gentle breeze. Thus, the idolatrous worship of Baal, in the days of Elias, would not destroy faith in the One at all, for the remainder, even if small, would still be the beginning of a new growth of faith.

Priest – chairman of the divine liturgy is responsible for celebrating of cult. He should serve the liturgy in such way so that he himself and the believers participate in it consciously and actively. Essential feature creating the harmony between that what is divine and human in the liturgy is not only fulfilling the liturgical regulations but whole attitude of the celebrant including internal formation of the priest and his personal culture. Participant of liturgical actions is to realize that the person who serves usually lives and breathes them.

FRANCISCANS OF PRIMITIVE OBSERVANCE AND THEIR PLACE IN HISTORY OF FRANCISCANISM
Abstract
The order founded by Francis of Assisi was monolith until the end of the 16th century. Within the mentioned period of time the Order of Friars Minor was divided. In one monastic family came into being three sections which since that time differently realized a vision of founder in the life of communities of Conventual Franciscan Friars, Franciscans of Primitive Observance and Capuchins. Official establishment of FPO was long and difficult process even though they were the biggest movement inside the observance both from geographical and numerical point of view. Conclusively they managed to create the monastic structures in Europe. They came to Poland and at the end of 16th century they started to build orders.

RELIGIOUS ACCENTS OF OCTOBER EVENTS OF 1956 IN LEGNICA
Abstract
October 1956 is one of the important dates in post-war history of Legnica. Demonstrations of urban population which took place on 23 and 24 October were an expression of clear social disapproval for of the time political, economic and social system. These events had distinct religious aspect too. Protesting people, wanting to recover worth life wanted also to get right to freedom of religion. There are also no doubts that issue of religion for those people was associated directly with Polish identity.
